Newspaper Analysis

This is a sun newspaper that was released a few years ago. The newspaper shows two main images, one being the actual story of the newspaper and the other being a "Picture Exclusive" of an attractive women seeking to lure men reading the newspaper. the quote "Hello Boys!" is purposely used to gain mens attention into buying the newspaper. The headline of the newspaper is "Kick In Kiev". This story was about about a young named David Stone who was rushed by a mob at a bar and also smashed in the head by a bottle. The jump line of the newspaper is at the top right of the page "I spent £50k to look like my daughter" which is used to try and lure people into reading the newspaper. Because it says the pages of the story, people may be interested into the story, making them read it. The strapline of the newspaper is placed on top of the main image, "Ukraine yobs batter England footie fans". this is used to give extra information for the newspaper, making it more interesting trying to get people to read it.
