Bully "Bullworth" - Game Analysis

Bullworth Academy is an action adventure game created and published by Rockstar Games. Bully was released in October 2006. The remastered version of the game, "Bully Scholarship Edition" was released 2 years later of the original game. This version of the game was set for Xbox360. Bully is now accessible on consoles such as PS4, PS3.
Bully is set in a fictional town "Bullworth". The game is based on a mischievous, violent and disrespectful student called Jimmy (James) Hopkins who is dropped of at a boarding school in England known as "Bullworth Academy", the worst school in the country. He has been expelled from seven schools meaning he has come to Bullworth to make a change. However, Jimmy's efforts to rise through the levels of the school system is achieved, however, he finds that the school is filled with bullies trying to bring him down, making him come peace with them. The game is based on free roam meaning it allows you to control your character as well as partaking in activities. Jimmy can swim, use vehicles such as bikes, skateboard, scooters and go-karts. Jimmy can also ride the bus which allows him to travel faster around the game.
The game single player mode allows you to do missions. Every completed mission is a step closer to justice as well as progressing you single payer story mode. If failed, you stay and remain where you started. Depending what you do in the mission, you can either gain or lose respect for the clique groups. As well as missions there are challenges and activities such as bike-riding, races, finding collectables, paper route, moaning lawns, group fights. These mainly make you cash and progress you single player story. Throughout the game, Jimmy is faced with 6 clique groups which include, Nerds, Preppies, Greasers, Jocks, Bullies and Townies. Bully is split up into 6 chapters in which each chapter is based on one clique. In the Game, Jimmy is set to find and earn weapons. The first mission of the game "The Setup", if completed successfully, Jimmy is handed a slingshot which is his first weapon. On campus, Jimmy can find other weapons such as stink-bombs, firecrackers, marbles, itching powder, and baseball bats. in the game missions, Jimmy discovers more weapons which are more advanced.
Besides the protagonist of the game (Jimmy), there are other important characters of the game that from time to time fall out with Jimmy. This includes clique leaders which include, Russell Northrop, Johnny Vincent, Derby Harrington, Ted Thompson, Earnest Jones and Edgar Munsem. The main antagonist of the game is Gary Smith. Gary Smith is a psychopathic student with a bad reputation. He suffers ADD and also shows actions of narcissism and paranoia. At the start of the game, he makes friends with Jimmy, however, down the story line, we see his lead of betrayal and setups for Jimmy. Gary's overall goal is to take over the school and becoming "King of Bullworth". As well as Gary, another student named Pete is seen with him. Pete is more feminist than other students. He doesn't agree with Garys plan but he still hangs with him. The end of the game ends up with Jimmy taking over the school and Gary getting expelled.
